Your website gets traffic but no enquiries. Here is where to look first.

Nexan Tech · 20 October 2026

When a website gets visitors but few enquiries, the instinct is to redesign it or buy more traffic. Neither helps until you know where people are dropping off.

1. Can a visitor tell what you do in five seconds?

Read your homepage headline as a stranger would. If it says "Welcome to our company" or "Innovative solutions", it isn't doing its job. State what you do, who it is for and why it matters.

2. Is the next step obvious?

Every key page needs one clear action: call, WhatsApp or request a quote. If the only way to reach you is a contact page in the menu, many visitors will leave instead.

3. Does it work properly on a phone?

Most local business traffic is mobile. Open your site on a phone and try to send an enquiry. Slow pages, tiny buttons and long forms all cost you leads.

4. Is there proof?

Real client names, real project examples and honest testimonials reassure a buyer who has never heard of you.

5. Can you measure it?

If form submissions, call clicks and WhatsApp clicks are not tracked, you are guessing. Set up tracking first, so every change can be judged by the number of enquiries it produces.
